It took me about an hour to do the entire fireplace with the primer and one coat was perfect. But if all you have is a brick facade and not 4 sides plus a planter, you can probably do the project in an hour or two. The space in between my bricks is much deeper than yours, so I dont know that a roller would get the paint into those spaces. As I stated before, I am very new to the idea.
