The Carol Stream Park District and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10396will honor its veterans at 11 a.m. Monday with a ceremony at the Veterans Memorial Plaza in Carol Stream Town Center. There will be a flag dedication at 10:30 a.m. at the Towne Center Retirement Community. Following the ceremony, packets will be available detailing six of the city's many Civil War soldiers who were killed in action and buried in the Pine Hill Cemetery.
